We’ve said it before and I know we’ll be saying it again, you meet the loveliest people just walking down the street. Although she has been here for a while Valerie still has her lovely French accent.

What is your Bondi Story?

“I left Paris 11 years ago to join my sister, who had already been living here for a while. I had never been to Australia before and moved without knowing if I would even like it. Of course, I fell in love with the lifestyle, and I’m still here over a decade later.”

How do you spend the first hour of your day?

“I don’t really have a set routine, except for one thing: a good coffee. As long as I have that in hand, the rest of the morning can go wherever it wants.”

One thing you would like people to know about you?

“I love wandering around Bondi with my camera, capturing the small things and unposed, spontaneous moments of people just being themselves. I especially love Icebergs—it's such a classic spot. To me, Bondi is the perfect playground; there is a specific energy and light here that makes every corner a new composition.”
