We were walking home with the dog along Ramsgate Avenue last Saturday night when we noticed this amiable looking group celebrating a birthday on the grass at the front of their block. The group was not only convivial but also quite multicultural. Celebrating French-born Eleonor’s birthday were her friends from Brazil, America, France and Australia.
Eleonor and her partner Elliot arrived from France more than six years ago and plan to build their lives here. Excellente nouvelles!
