Christine landed in Bondi from South Wales 33 years ago, fell in love with the place and has lived here ever since.

She was the founder and principal of The Ballet Class in Rose Bay for 32 years but is now semi-retired, although she still regularly travels the world in her capacity as examiner for The Royal Academy of Dance.

“I learned to swim 3 years ago at the age of 69 with amazing coach Donna Moclair and joined the Icebergs, encouraged by my partner Alan Gow who swims the bay daily with the Puffers.

I recently had a full shoulder replacement and am recuperating very well due to my regular pool activity.

As a regular traveller I can safely say that nothing beats Bondi.”
