We have dubbed Dianne the Op Shop Queen. When we remarked on her jacket she was quick to point out that it cost her $4 and came from her favourite op shop in Lake Macquarie. She and husband Tibor have dubbed Hillview “the church” as Sunday morning is the best time to go. Queen Dianne can tell you the best op shops to go between here and the Central Coast (and beyond, no doubt).
Dianne used to volunteer at the Wayside Chapel Christmas lunches but now divides her time with Tibor between Watsons Bay and Lake Macquarie where they have a place.
The Sydney Invitational Carnival 2026 at the Bondi Icebergs Pool
This year’s Invitational Meet was held on Sunday 26 July 2026. The event is a friendly, community-focused competition where the Bondi Icebergs Winter Swimming Club hosts visiting regional clubs, winter swimming groups and local life-saving clubs.
