Joy Long
We see Joy’s husband Longy at the pool every morning. But we only see Joy occasionally. She always has a smile for us.
Longy told us that Joy (nee Ivill) is an artist. Her works of joyful embroidery storytelling have been collected by the Powerhouse Museum.

Marathoners come to Bondi
Bondi has had a lot of Sydney marathoners coming for a visit since Sunday’s event. How they’re not lying prostrate somewhere is a bit beyond us.
Jean March and Afra, who had come from France for the marathon were here for the day before flying home.
