Susan's Hand

We couldn’t help but notice that something was up with Susan’s hand. So we, like everyone else she has been coming into contact with asked her what had happened.
It’s not a pleasant thing to have, but if you are going to be afflicted with something let it have a name like Viking claw. Shield wall anyone?
Viking claw is the common term for Dupuytren's contracture, a hand condition where fingers curl inward towards the palm due to thickening tissue under the skin. As you can imagine you’re more likely to find it in people of Scandinavian or Northern European descent. 

Susan is hoping to have the splint taken off this week. But the other hand is going to need attention soon.
