Rachel Ward and Vinnie
Rachel Ward and Vinnie
We really enjoyed meeting these two this morning. What caught our eye was the matching outfits. Rachel was slightly horrified when we pointed it out as it really wasn’t intended. Vinnie was looking pretty happy about it. For a long time Rachel worked in global sales for a high end fashion brand, but these days she’s working for Decidr, a Sydney-based AI company.
What is your Bondi story?
“I moved to Bondi in December 2020, after a semi unintentional move to Australia thanks to COVID. It was a little slow making friends but as soon as I got my dog that completely changed. The Bondi community really came alive. Everyone is a neighbour here. Bondi is an eclectic mix of old and ‘new’ Bondi, local and transient, party people and long term residents, I hope it manages to stay that way.”
How do you spend the first hour of your day?
“Usually at Balance Moves reformer Pilates on Hall Street, or getting ready for work and taking Vinnie for a walk. My favourite mornings are Pilates followed by hot yoga at Sarana, it’s the best way to start the day.”
Back to Decidr. We were intrigued. Rachel is Head of Franchise for the company which is an Agentic AI Operating System for business (ASX:DAI).
“We are one of Australia’s leading AI companies (just voted by McKinsey), it’s a very cool platform that reads across your existing systems, then structures your data so that AI can talk to AI and fully automate your workflows without human intervention, helping you realign your goals to work more intelligently. It’s a full ecosystem where Apps that users install can be fully Agentic, other businesses using Decidr, or businesses operating on behalf of Decidr (franchise) - think Shopify or the App Store.”
