Bryon and Ava Jones

We featured Ava’s parent’s, old friends Bryon Jones and Vanessa Fergusson on a windy day in 2023. So it was a real pleasure to finally and officially meet Ava who we have heard so much about over the years.

“Yep, I’m a Bondi girl born and raised. I went to Bondi Beach primary and Rose Bay Secondary College. Still best friends with my original Bondi Beach girls.

I finished my Bachelors in Film Studies and Art History at Sydney Uni last year - and I’m currently working as an arts administrator for Head On Photo Festival and as a waitress at The Depot in North Bondi.

As for future plans, I’d love to keep working in music and the arts and ultimately do something creative. I’m not entirely sure where I’ll end up living - maybe lots of places. I definitely have the travel bug and will be heading to Berlin and London in July for a little while, but I’ll always be a beach girl.”

It’s going to be so much fun watching Ava from the sidelines.
